This wiki site is devoted to providing the citizens of Pickens County an alternative means of participating in the Comprehensive Plan process. As time goes on, opportunities will be provided allowing input to proposed draft plan documents, surveys will be posted according to specific plan elements, and notices of meeting and event dates will be provided.

Include an equestrian element in recreation and in economic development in the 2030 Plan.   The nearby Garrison Arena is a prime venue for horse shows and events similar to what is being done in Tryon, Camden, and Aiken.    Pickens county has many horse farms and this will add to a healthy recreation lifestyle as well as encourage major economic development similar to nearby communities.
